ABOUT US

MISSION STATEMENT

To help women reclaim their lives from addiction by providing subsidized and supportive recovery housing for one year after completion of long-term addiction treatment. This year will act as a much-needed bridge between treatment and self-sufficiency.

VISION STATEMENT

Addiction affects all aspects of one’s life. All-encompassing behavior changes are required to attain successful recovery. Structure and support are key to developing a new way of living in recovery. Women returning to the community after long-term addiction treatment need time to:

· Strengthen recovery behaviors learned in treatment

· Build a new sober support network

· Get financially established

Relapse can occur when financial obligations cause overwhelming stress on a woman early in recovery. Danny’s House fills the gap in the recovery treatment model by providing one year of subsidized, recovery-oriented supportive housing to allow women the time to reclaim their lives and establish a new life in recovery.
